  • Write, draw or be inspired by one quote that has a positive message for you
  • Identify three household items that can be used for printmaking
  • Learn how to use five very simple bookbinding methods
  • Use the block by block technique to make one double page spread in your journal

About the course: Be inspired to start an art journal filled with drawings, paintings, thoughts, words, lyrics, photos, magazine cut-outs and ephemera from your life. It can have lots of words, or no words. You can use it to document your life and express your emotions, or you can use it to practice art techniques that interest you.

Benefits of art journaling include helping us to process our thoughts, relax, practice self-care, connect with others, embrace mistakes, experiment and try things out.

Art journaling is creating just for fun. These journals are always unique and personal and hopefully, this course will inspire you and kickstart your own creative journaling habit!
