Mandy Robotham:

Mandy Robotham is best known for her historical fiction but has taken a step into crime with her newest historical crime novel – The Hidden Storyteller-, which came out in February 2024. Set just after WWII, this is about Georgie Young, who returns to the country she fled seven years ago - only to find it unrecognisable. She joins forces with a local detective to catch a killer targeting women - and gets drawn into the dark underbelly of Hamburg… Mandy is a crime fiction fanatic and is delighted to be setting foot into the crime world this year. She has experience at events and will be appearing at Bloody Scotland this year on a historical crime panel.

Mike Hollow:

Mike grew up mainly in Romford, Essex before studying Russian and French at Cambridge University.

He has worked in various jobs for the BBC for sixteen years before moving to work for development agency Tearfund, travelling widely in Africa, Asia and Latin America. In 2002 he went freelance as a writer, editor and creative project manager, and now spends all his time in the cellar of his house in Hampshire chronicling the adventures of the Blitz Detective.

He loves reading and writing detective novels and chose the Blitz, because overnight it turned everyday existence into a life-and-death struggle for ordinary people – and some of them were his family.

His latest book, the eighth in the Blitz Detective series, is The Covent Garden Murder, with the next one, The Soho Murder, due to be published on 24 October.

Michelle Salter:

Michelle Salter is the author of the bestselling Iris Woodmore Mysteries set in the 1920s.

She enjoys writing classic crime fiction with memorable characters and intriguing plots that focus on mystery rather than violence. She is a local author, and her historical murder mysteries are set in northeast Hampshire.

A Corpse in Christmas Close, set in Winchester, is her latest book, published on 24 August 2024.
