Basic Bike Maintenance Workshop Session

Is being worried about getting a puncture stopping you from getting out on your bike? If so, come along to our free, basic maintenance class.

Join our basic bike maintenance workshop and learn the practical skills needed to keep your wheels on the road or trail.

You will learn:

  • how to remove and reattach a wheel
  • how to repair and replace an tyre's innertube
  • what equipment you should carry on every bike ride
  • safety checking your bike
  • recommended regular cleaning of your bike

Our maintenance expert, Jethro, will take the time to answer your questions and give you the confidence to use your own basic repair kit and we hope that, following the class, you will have gained more confidence to go out and enjoy your cycling.

What you need to know:

Booking is essential

  • Sign in with the visitor centre
  • If you are able, please bring your own bike. As we will be working indoors make sure it is not covered in mud
  • Parking charges apply at all times
