Family Beaded Snowflake Workshop

Come and enjoy learning basic jewellery making methods as a family

Learning Goals: (by the end of the course you will be able to…)

Design, select and use a range of beads
Produce one beaded snowflake to take home with you
Demonstrate how to use jewellery making tools to turn wire

About the course: This fun and friendly session will enable you to enjoy learning a new skill as a family. You will be able to select your own beads and produce a beautiful hanging beaded snowflake. During the session you will have the opportunity to use basic jewellery making tools

Who is this course for: Families who would like to enjoy learning a new craft together whilst having fun!

Previous knowledge or experience: No previous knowledge or experience is required. The threading of beads etc can be quite tricky so manual dexterity is a requirement. If you require glasses for close up work, please have them with you

How will I learn: Through tutor demonstration and class participation

What shall I bring: All equipment for making 2 snowflakes per family is provided

If a learner decides to withdraw from a course before a course begins, the following charges should be made:

• 5 working days or more before course starts a full refund will be issued

• No refunds will normally be made if a learner withdraws from a course less than 4 working days before the start of the course

Attendance is expected at each session to ensure that you get the most out of your learning experience and to minimise disruption for other learners. Please advise the venue/tutor of any absence you may have.
