9.00am to 3.00pm

This school holiday activity will run from 09:00-15:00 and is suitable for children aged 8-14 years old. Your child will have the opportunity to experience life as a farm ranger for the day. Adults will not be able to accompany children during this session and we advise adults to not follow the group around the farm during the session as this can be distracting for the children.

Please meet at the Farm Shop five minutes before the session start time and your activity leaders will meet you there. Please have your confirmation booking email ready to show and a printed version of the form sent out in the confirmation emails.

All children will be provided with overalls to wear which is essential for biosecurity reasons so please ensure they understand this before attending. Please dress appropriately for the weather so if hot, light clothes for underneath the overalls and hat and suncream or if raining, please bring waterproofs as we will be outside regardless of weather. We do not provide shoes so please ensure they are wearing wellie boots or appropriate walking shoes. Please no open toed shoes. We will stop for a drink and a snack break at 10:00-10:15 and for lunch at 12:15-13:00. Please bring a packed lunch and a water bottle for the day.

Additional Information:

Adults are to drop their child at the Farm Shop, where they will be met and supervised by two members of the education team. If adults wish to visit the farm, they must pay standard admission price or present a valid membership card. You will be required to fill out an online T&C form regarding the behaviour of children and will also be required to fill in and bring with you a form containing the child’s and the adult’s information which the activity leader will keep.

Children will be escorted off site, back to the Farm shop and supervised until their parent has arrived to collect them.

Please read the T&C’s:

Please Park in the main car park. You get 20 minutes free parking, so plenty if just dropping off and leaving site again. If you are longer than 20 minutes, please put your vehicle registration in the tablets in the visitor centre to receive free parking.

If your child does not behave in accordance with our rules and regulations, you will be telephoned by the activity leader to pick up and remove the child from the session.
