This course examines the impact of the physical environment, the role of the adult, and choice of resources on children’s Communication and Language development.

This is in interactive course full of practical ideas to apply to your own setting or school. Delegates will explore a wide range of resources including treasure baskets, loose parts and interesting artefacts that inspire curiosity for young children. There will be an opportunity to plan for the unique child and build areas of enclosure and safe spaces to talk.

We will examine the crucial role of the adult and how quality interactions and visual aids can impact on language development.

Suitable for early years practitioners, learning support assistants (LSA) and class teachers working in early years settings, Year R and Year 1.
