Heritage Crafts Workshop: Foraged Materials Basketry at Manor Farm

Learn the sustainable craft of creating your own unique basket from foraged materials, at Manor Farm on Sunday 27th July 2025 from 10:00 to 16:00. Led by artist and heritage craftsperson Mandie Molyneux, engage with creativity and relax into a gentle rhythm as you craft from natural materials. Sustainable, eco friendly and unique.

Materials will vary from those shown, due to the nature of what's available for foraging around this time. After enjoying hot drinks and a slice of homemade cake, the next hour or so of the workshop will be spent in foraging around the woods for suitable materials. Please wear suitable footwear. We will take a break for lunch.

Please bring secateurs and a packed lunch. After the workshop, you are welcome to explore the Farm, which is open until 5pm.

Mandie Molyneux has thirty years workshop experience, training other artists in workshop facilitation, lecturing and teaching in universities, along with curating and hanging exhibitions in mainstream galleries. Mandie has a passion for creating with foraged natural materials, and continues to enjoy learning and practising new skills that she relishes in sharing.
