Japanese Improvers – Term 1

7.30pm to 9.00pm

This term, we will continue to consolidate all the grammatical structures and expressions that you have learned so far and utilise them in a communicative way. You will gain confidence in the usage of Japanese by exploring various conversations in different contexts.

  • Describe your town and places that you recommend in simple terms
  • Give directions and information required to get to a place
  • Invite your friend to go out and make arrangements to meet
  • Express your wish and intentions
  • Gain practical ability communicating in everyday situations

Who is this course for: People who have completed the Japanese Improvers Term 2 course or those who have a good basic knowledge of the language

Previous Knowledge or Experience: See above

How will I learn: In a relaxed atmosphere with a small group of learners

How will I be assessed: Through questions and answers, and small quizzes

What shall I bring: Pen, notebook and the textbook (Marugoto: Japanese Language and Culture Elementary 1 A2 ‘Katsudo’)

If a learner decides to withdraw from a course before a course begins, the following charges should be made:
