Come and discover your craft skills in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere through a mixture of practice, discussion and demonstration.
- Select and use a range of beads using size and colour coordinating skills.
- Produce at least 2 pieces of jewellery of your choice
About the Course: Come along for a fun and relaxing time whilst you produce some lovely jewellery for yourself or as a gift
Who is this course for: An ideal follow-on workshop from the Jewellery for Wellbeing course but we also welcome those with no experience or previous knowledge of jewellery making
Previous Knowledge or Experience: none required. The threading of beads etc can be quite tricky so manual dexterity is a requirement. If you require glasses for close up work, please have them with you
How will I learn: through tutor demonstration and class participation
How will I be assessed: tutor observations and creation of pieces of jewellery
Materials Required: All materials are provided in the cost of the workshop
This workshop could lead to: Continuation of other craft related courses for pleasure, membership of local craft groups and societies
Attendance is expected at each session to ensure that you get the most out of your learning experience and to minimise disruption for other learners. Please advise the venue/tutor of any absence you may have.
