Junior Farm Rangers at Staunton Farm
Wednesday 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th November, 11th and 18th December 2024
2.45pm to 4.00pm
Junior Farm Rangers is a farm-based activity session designed specifically for children aged 8 – 14 years who are not currently in full time education. Please note, parents will not be accompanying their child on this activity.
During the session children will have the opportunity to learn through experience by taking part in practical activities around the farm such as feeding the animals, collecting hay and poo picking. None of these activities are guaranteed and will vary each session. Children will be provided with all the equipment they need to complete the farm tasks.
The session is 75 minutes long and has smaller group sizing to accommodate for any SEND requirements. There will be one activity leader, and the group size is 6 children.
Additional information
Adults are to drop their child at the Farm shop, where they will be always met and supervised by a member of the education team. If adults want to visit the farm, they must pay standard admission or present a valid membership card.
