Junior Farm Rangers is a farm-based activity session designed specifically for children aged 8 – 14 years. Please note, parents will not be accompanying their child on this activity.

During the session children will have the opportunity to learn through experience by taking part in practical activities around the farm such as feeding the animals, collecting hay and poo picking. Children will be provided with all the equipment they need to complete the farm tasks.

The session is 90 minutes long.

Additional information

Adults are to drop their child at the Farm shop, where they will be met and supervised by a member of the education team at all times. If adults want to visit the farm they must pay standard admission or present a valid membership card.

Children will be escorted off site, back to the Farm shop and supervised until their parent has arrived.

The group will meet outside the Farm Shop (by the plant sales) at the start of each session.

T&C’s

Please park in the main car park. You will receive a code from your activity instructor that permits free parking, simply enter the code and your registration into the pay machine when leaving the farm. You get 20 minutes free parking, so plenty if just dropping off and leaving site again.

Please check in with our reception team at the Farm Shop. You will need to bring your e-receipt with you (this can be on a device). The reception team will inform you where the designated meeting point is for your session. Please ensure you there 5 minutes before your session start time.

The activities will take place around Staunton Farm. Please make sure you come dressed for the weather, warm clothes and waterproofs are advisable. Overalls for children will be provided. All participants should be wearing welly boots.

Sessions may be booked individually or as a block. When block booking please add all 6 sessions for this term to your basket to receive a 10% discount. These sessions are non refundable, non transferable.

All information held by Staunton will be stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act and will not be shared with any third parties.
