Children will learn basic cycling control through fun games on the playground. This will include cycle balance skills including how to push and glide the balance bike, to control their bike’s direction and how to stop.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eIf your child is already confident with their striding and gliding skills on a balance bike, they may be ready to progress to the next stage and so you might consider one of our \u003cstrong\u003eLearn to Ride\u003c\/strong\u003e courses instead. These would be more suitable courses for children as they can begin to use pedals for the first time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003ePlease ensure that all children are appropriately dressed for all weather types as the training will take place outside. We suggest they bring a water bottle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eEach child will need a fully operational balance bike and a cycle helmet (we have some available on request)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eChildren must wear a helmet\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eThere must be at least 3 people signed up for the course to go ahead.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe course will be delivered by our Hampshire Outdoors Bikeability Team.
