Fri 2nd, Thurs 8th or Wed 14th Aug 2024

9.00am to 10.00am, 10.15am to 11.15am or 11.30am to 12.30pm

Cycling courses aimed at KS1 children to develop fundamental cycling skills. Children will learn basic cycling control through fun games on the playground. This is open to anyone with a cycle, including balance bikes (with brakes), those with stabilisers as well as those who use pedal bikes.

Please ensure that all children are appropriately dressed for all weather types as the training will take place outside. We suggest they bring a water bottle.

  • Each child will need a fully operational bike with two working brakes and a cycle helmet (we have some available on request)
  • Children must wear a helmet
  • A hi-vis jacket will be given to any child who is cycling on the road - you can bring your own if you would like too

If you would like your child to learn how to ride, please look at our Learn to Ride courses. This course focusses on playground games, and it is unlikely we will be able to take stabilisers off during the session.
