Join this special speaker event as part of 'Only Murders in the Library', a crime writing festival at Basingstoke Discovery Centre.
Authors Tim Sullivan and Simon Toyne will be in conversation with fellow crime author and criminal law expert Helen Fields.
Tim Sullivan:
Tim Sullivan is a crime writer, screenwriter and director whose film credits include A Handful of Dust, Jack and Sarah, and Cold Feet. Early in his career he directed Jeremy Brett’s iconic portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in ITV’s The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes, cementing his lifelong passion for crime fiction.
Tim’s critically acclaimed crime series features the brilliant and persistent detective DS George Cross who has Autism Spectrum Condition. The series has won an army of fans, been described by critics as iconic and topped the book charts. The Bookseller, the next is the series will be released in January 2025.

Simon Toyne:
Simon Toyne’s first book, Sanctus, was translated into 29 languages, published in over 60 countries and was an international and Sunday Times bestseller.
