Come along to join us to learn different techniques to help with stress, anxiety or just to bring some more peace to your lives.
Learning to cultivate compassion for yourself and others and using mindfulness and meditation techniques to help learn to cope with everyday stress, anxiety and to lay foundations for healthier mind-sets and responses.
- Name 4 different types of practices
- Explore and explain the introduction of Mindfulness to the brain
- Discuss at least 5 different coping strategies and alternative options of healthier coping techniques
Who is this course for: Beginners
Previous knowledge or experience: None required
How will I learn: Practices, group discussion, independent practice and inquiry, videos and audios
How will I be assessed: Group work, practices, independent practice learning
What shall I bring: Notebook and pen, pillow, yoga mat and blanket. Please note, we will have a short break each week so please bring refreshments/money should you wish to pop out and buy a drink

Attendance is expected at each session to ensure that you get the most out of your learning experience and to minimise disruption for other learners. Please advise the venue/tutor of any absence you may have.
