Mini Farmers is a farm-based activity session designed specifically for children aged between 4 and 8 with their parent/guardian. All supporting guardians must be over the age of 18.

During the session children will have the opportunity to learn through experience by taking part in practical activities around the farm such as feeding the animals, collecting hay or poo picking. Children will be provided with all the equipment they need to complete the farm tasks.

The session is 60 minutes long.

Additional information:

All children must be accompanied by an adult (adults are included in the £9.50 ticket).

No more than 1 adult per child may attend the session.

All adults and children will be escorted off site at the end of the session. Anyone wishing to stay at the farm after the session will be required to pay standard admission or present a valid membership card.

The group will meet outside the Farm shop (by the plant sales) at the start of each session. Please note you will be required to fill in T&Cs online regarding behaviour during the session. Failure to agree to these T&Cs will result in not being able to partake in the session.

Please Park in the main car park. After the session you will need to enter your registration number plate into the tablets in the visitor centre to receive your free parking.

Please wait at the farm shop for your activity leader to collect you. You will need to bring your e-receipt with you (this can be on a device). Please ensure you are there 5 minutes before your session start time.

The activities will take place around Staunton Farm. Please make sure you come dressed for the weather, warm clothes and waterproofs are advisable. Hats and light clothing in hot weather. Overalls for children will be provided and will need to be worn to follow our biosecurity measures. Adults and children must wear welly boots or appropriate walking shoes. Please no sandals, flip flops, or any open toed shoes, this will result in not being able to take part in the session as we do not provide shoes.
