Learn how to use perspective in your drawings and produce artwork using mixed
media techniques.
Learning Goals: (by the end of the course you will be able to…)
- Produce drawings using one-point and two-point perspective
- Produce at least two paintings combining different watercolour and acrylic mediums
- Produce drawings and painting using the grids and thirds methods
- Describe how art improves your mental health
About the course: On the course you will learn the basics of drawing and painting using mixed media methods in a fun, safe and friendly atmosphere. You will learn how to draw using one-point and two-point perspective and you will also learn to use the grids and thirds methods to enable you to produce more accurate drawings and paintings
Who is this course for: For complete beginners in drawing and painting
Previous knowledge or experience: No experience necessary
How will I learn: Observation, class discussion and practical projects
How will I be assessed: Observation and completed artwork
What shall I bring: Drawing pencils, watercolour paints, watercolour paper, brushes & a water pot
