Silver Navigator Award - Training & Assessment

9.00am to 3.30pm

The Silver National Navigation Award teaches the skills required to navigate to features and places some distance from paths and tracks. It teaches accurate compass work and will also teach you to select the suitable navigational techniques to cross open country and slightly more complex terrain. This course is ideal for those who have already completed the Bronze Award or already have basic navigational skills and experience.

The skills you’ll learn will help you explore the thousands of miles of paths, tracks, and trails across the UK and further afield. For the full Silver Navigator award syllabus please see the NNAS website.

Taught in small groups of ratios of 1:8 max.

The NNAS Silver Navigator Award is accredited by the Scottish Credit & Qualifications Framework (SCQF) at Level 5 and 2 SCQF credit points are awarded on completion.

Cancellation before 6 weeks of the start date of the course: Hampshire Outdoors will reimburse the client 50%

Cancellation before 12 weeks of the start date of the course: Hampshire Outdoors will reimburse the client 90%
