'Tribe Sessions: 'Waking the Dragon'

Farnborough Library

Saturday 6th July 2024

10.30am to 12.00pm

Come with Tribe on a journey to explore the folklore of dragons from around the world. Guided by ‘YesYesYes’ the riddling dragon expert you will help create a giant dragon puppet. The fun doesn’t stop there – as a crew we’ll use drums, voices and shakers to create a magical thunderstorm for our dragon wake up and dance!

This event is part of our Library Service of Sanctuary work - our ongoing commitment to supporting sanctuary seekers across Hampshire: https://www.hants.gov.uk/librariesandarchives/library/about-us/service-sanctuary

Tribe Alternative Stage School aims to give young people the tools they need to be more resilient adults by:

  • Creating permissive spaces that allow the broadest range of ideas to be shared and explored
  • Inviting young people to find measures of their value beyond the black and white, utilising imaginative tools and cross artform projects
  • Supporting young people and families to build meaningful connections, utilising shared values of being human, as well as our intrinsic connection to the natural world
