The course is for parents with children from birth to 4 years old offering general parenting guidance in supporting your child’s social, behavioural, and emotional needs.

  • Build your confidence in your skills and abilities as a parent
  • Demonstrate tools to help improve the relationship between you and your child
  • Apply strategies to help your children to be more secure emotionally and to help you raise their self-esteem
  • Identify the best ways to encourage positive behaviour and discourage negative behaviour
  • Create a mutually supportive group extending your own social network, communication skills and empathy
  • Illustrate tools that help you in your relationship with the other parent and care givers in your child’s life

Who is this course for: Parents and carers with young children from birth to 4 years old. Unfortunately, we are unable to allow children to attend

How will I be assessed: Informal assessment through task completion and self-assessment
