Winter Willow Craft

To create a practical, decorative birdfeeder for your garden by learning simple, traditional weaving techniques and learn about the sustainability and use of locally grown willow.
- Describe the properties of willow
- Demonstrate a pairing weave
- Learn to use a three-rod wale weave
- Use free weaving techniques
- Discuss how to prepare willow for weaving
Who is this course for: Anyone interested in learning to make a willow birdfeeder
Previous knowledge or experience: None required
How will I learn: Step by step tutor demonstration
How will I be assessed: Tutor observation
What shall I bring: Your £20 will include all willow, but please bring your own set of sharp secateurs if you have some

Attendance is expected at each session to ensure that you get the most out of your learning experience and to minimise disruption for other learners. Please advise the venue/tutor of any absence you may have.
