About the Course
Hatha Yoga is what most people would call yoga. This is a system of yoga pioneered in India by a 15th Century Yogic Sage named Yogi Swatmarama. Hatha Yoga is a system of yoga most popular in the world and is commonly practised in the West
Who is this course for: beginners or those more experienced
Previous Knowledge or Experience: No previous knowledge or experience is needed. Beginners will be made welcome
How will I learn: Through performing postures and practices
How will I be assessed: observation by tutr, self-assessment and discussion, answering questions
What shall I bring: Bring a yoga or exercise mat and a bottle of water. Wear loose comfortable clothing. Extra layer of clothing/a blanket for relaxation
Next Steps: This Course could lead to other yoga or meditation courses at the library or local colleges
