Workouts don’t have to be a chore! Zumba is a fun, social dance party – with
exercise being the biggest perk. Since it takes place in a group setting, Zumba is by far one of the best ways to get your friends in on your “exercise routine.”

  • Improve different elements of your fitness (flexibility, muscular strength, and cardio-vascular fitness)
  • Develop coordination, sense of rhythm and musicality
  • Identify how regular fitness can help prevent illness and promote physical and emotional health

Who is this course for: Anyone who would like to try Zumba in order to be more active, flexible and more relaxed. Zumba targets lots of different muscle groups and boosts your heart health. You not only get aerobic benefits (it really gets your heart rate up!), but also get anaerobic benefits – the kind that help you maintain a good cardiovascular respiratory system. Evidence shows there is a link between being physically active and good mental wellbeing. Regular exercise has been linked to decreasing stress, depression and anxiety

Previous knowledge or experience: No previous knowledge or experience is required. This is a medium-high intensity and medium impact (there are some jumps in the routines) course
