Your privacy and the Hampshire County Council Online Shop

Hampshire County Council collects information about you in order to supply the goods and services requested.

We will use any personal information that you give us only in connection with processing your order. If you choose to join our mailing list we will also send you information about products and events that we think may be of interest to you. You can leave the mailing list at any time by contacting hantswebshop@hants.gov.uk or clicking 'Unsubscribe' on the email you receive.

Hampshire County Council does not collect or store any information about the credit/debit card you use to pay for your order. Card payments are handled by our payment processing partner, Shopify.

Your data will be retained for a period of 7 years.

Data provided on the Shopify platform may be processed in Ireland or Canada on the basis of an adequacy decision with the UK. It may also be processed in the USA where adequate safeguards are in place. The legal basis for processing data is that a contract has been entered into with the data subject when making a purchase from the shop. The legal basis for providing special category data e.g. medical information when booking certain courses, is explicit consent.
