To develop and practice learner’s spoken English, to read, discuss and demonstrate
understanding of texts at this level and to practice and extend written skills, using a variety of tenses and vocabulary.
Learning Goals:
- Participate in oral discussions on a variety of topics
- Understand and use subject specific vocabulary
- Read and discuss detailed texts to demonstrate understanding
- Use words, phrases and sentences to record information
About the course: An opportunity to improve your spoken, comprehension and written English in a group setting
Who is this course for: This course is for learners who wish to improve their English language skills
Previous knowledge or experience: Learners should be able to speak and understand some English
How will I learn: Learning will be through differentiated activities according to level of understanding
How will I be assessed: Informal observation and assessment by the tutor
What shall I bring: a notebook and pen or pencil
