Governor Self Evaluation – Bitesize Learning

The focus of this introductory training is to explore the benefits of using evaluation to assess effectiveness of governance in your childcare provision.

This short presentation on governance self-evaluation can be used as a workshop for childcare and early education setting leaders and your management /governance to understand the key aspects of self-evaluation of governance in childcare provision.

You can use the presentation slides and links to support the development of governor self-evaluation in your setting and to consider how you can review and evaluate systems and processes that you have in place, building in a structure of continual improvement to your business processes.

The aims of this training are:

• What is the purpose of reflection?

• What to evaluate?

• Putting in place processes for governance evaluation

Please allow at least 40 mins to complete this eLearning course. The materials contain a mixture of information, clips and quizzes to support the learning. Please note this training is run through the SfYC Moodle pages and you will therefore require computer and speaker access. You will also need to provide an up-to-date email address to enable access to the e-learning.

Academies and Independent schools will be charged a 15% surcharge on top of the standard cost. All schools, settings and other organisations from outside of Hampshire will also be charged this 15% surcharge.

If a member of the SfYC team needs to travel outside of the county to deliver training, expenses/mileage may be charged from the Hampshire border. Price on application.
