To explore journaling in a creative and artistic style using scrapbooking methods.
Learning Goals:
- Describe how scrapbooking and journaling benefits your mental health and wellbeing
- Demonstrate how to display photos in a creative way and use journaling to accompany them
- Use at least 3 different materials to embellish and decorate your scrapbook pages
- Apply learnt methods to create scrapbooking pages using your own individual style
About the course: Scrapbooking makes you reflect and remember happy times in your life, having a positive impact on your mental health and wellbeing
Who is this course for: Adults who love being creative and wish to explore different paper crafting methods using journaling and photos
Previous knowledge or experience: writing or previous paper crafting experience is useful but not essential
How will I learn: by demonstrations by tutor and exploratory methods through own creativity
How will I be assessed: tutor observation, feedback &, individual work
What shall I bring: Any craft supplies you wish to bring i.e. rubber stamps, pens, stickers and other embellishments. Scrapbooking paper if you have some but not essential. Please bring printed out photographs - for example holidays, family trips, families, children/grandchildren etc. You will need to bring these every week (max of 30 photos for the course)

Attendance is expected at each session to ensure that you get the most out of your learning experience and to minimise disruption for other learners. Please advise the venue/tutor of any absence you may have.
