Build on your existing portrait drawing experience through practice in a supportive environment. We will continue to work on facial structure and likeness, and we will also start to explore using colour for skin tone, facial features and hair. We will be using acrylic paint.

  • Use charcoal to represent three-dimensionality in a portrait using subtractive shading
  • Mix skin tones, hair colour and colour of facial features using acrylic paint
  • Be more confident and relaxed in your portraiture work through continued exercises and practice using paint and colour
