This is a free online course using Zoom.

To provide you with basic strategies to build positive relationships with your child and manage your child’s behaviour in a positive way. Suitable from toddlers to age 11.

  • Describe what positive parenting is.
  • Identify three ways to build a positive relationship with your child.
  • Teach your child at least two new skills and behaviours.
  • Identify and describe at least one strategy to help your child develop self-control.
  • Apply two strategies to manage misbehaviour and feedback to the group.
  • Be able to identify and explain at least two positive parenting strategies that you intend to use

Who is this course for: Parents/ carers who want to learn strategies to manage their child’s behaviour in a positive way while developing a positive relationship with them.

Previous knowledge or experience: None required
