Workshop - Reduction Linoprinting
Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July 2024
10.00am to 4.00pm
This 2-day workshop is designed for those with some linoprinting experience and who want to try relief printing with more than one colour using the same lino-block.
Tutors Aylsa Williams and Mandy Smith are artist printmakers and exhibit regularly in Southampton and beyond.
They will guide you with step-by-step demonstrations, how to design each layer of your print, transferring your design to your lino using registration techniques for accurate repeat printing. We will be working on A5 blocks.
You will learn useful tips on carving and mark making and how to ink your lino.
