To build confidence and skills in working on or finishing a picture

Learning Goals:

• Complete one warm up activity
• Complete one prep activity
• Plan your approach to your work
• Create one artwork

About the course: Join Isabel at this workshop where you can work on your own choice of picture or work on finishing something you have already started. With some warm up activities to help you get back into creativity and build your confidence, there will be plenty of time to spend on your artwork.

Who is this course for: Learners that have previously attended a course with Isabel, those who wish to continue working on an artwork with the support of a tutor or those who want to start a new artwork but have tutor support available.

What shall I bring: Source materials I.e. a photo or image to use as a starting point. Cartridge paper for activities, a pencil. Please bring the materials you need for the picture you are working on in either pen and wash, acrylics, watercolours or coloured pens, gel pens or fine liners. Please note that you do not need to bring all of the materials, just those you need for your artwork.

Next steps: Further art workshops with Learning in Libraries, attendance at a free art/craft session in your local library

If a learner decides to withdraw from a course before a course begins, the following charges should be made:

• 21 working days or more before course starts a full refund will be issued
• 7 - 20 working days before course starts a £10 admin fee will be charged
• Less than 7 working days before the course starts no refund will be made
