Crafting Christmas: Embossed Metal Wonders with Jacky

Aims of the Course: To introduce the subject/theme of crafty Christmas and metal embossing tools, media and techniques, to create beautiful metal embossed artwork, Christmas decorations and greetings cards. This workshop is for beginners and/or anyone with a passion for all things Christmassy and crafty. Make and take home some lovely handmade items.

Learning Goals, by the end of the course you will be able to:

• Identify and explore examples of metal embossed arts and crafts within the workshop.
• Identify, select and use a range of 2D and 3D tools and equipment, techniques and processes to create finished metal embossed artwork and decorations.

Previous knowledge or experience: No previous experience or knowledge required as you will be taught the skills and techniques required within the workshop.
How will I learn: Learning will take place as an introduction and demonstration by the tutor with examples provided and descriptions of the media and techniques used. Learners will engage visually and practically in the workshop to create exciting finished artwork.

What shall I bring: Please bring the £10 materials fee, and an apron (or wear old clothing). All materials will be provided during the workshop.

This tutor will also be delivering further courses and workshops across North East Hants in the Spring Term.

If a learner decides to withdraw from a course before a course begins, the following charges should be made:

• 21 working days or more before course starts a full refund will be issued
• 7 - 20 working days before course starts a £10 admin fee will be charged
• Less than 7 working days before the course starts no refund will be made
