Daisy J. Hung: I am Not a Tourist - Conversations on Being British Chinese
Romsey Library
Saturday 28th June 2025
2.00pm to 3.00pm
Join Daisy Hung, a diversity practitioner, writer, and artist, advocating for social justice across personal and professional spheres, for a talk on her book Conversations on Being British Chinese.
The book is a deeply personal journey untangling what it means to exist at the intersection of cultures. It is a bold and honest critique of race at a time of increased anti-Asian racism, a powerful search for belonging, and a reimagining of what it means to be ‘British’, in all its complexity.
Followed by a Q&A and book signing.
The sessions are offered for free by Hampshire Libraries and funded by the UK Government.
Free - one ticket per person
