Dancing Into Spring: Daffodil Still Life Workshop

Join Rachel as we immerse ourselves in an uplifting daffodil themed still life workshop
using acrylic paint

Learning Goals:

• Describe how to plan an engaging composition
• Identify warm and cool colours
• Use a variety of mark making tools to add surface texture and interest
• Apply colour effectively to evoke mood and atmosphere
• Create original and unique work
• Demonstrate an individual approach

Who is this course for: Beginners, improvers, flower lovers

Previous knowledge or experience: None needed

How will I learn: Tutor will model techniques and processes and there will be lots of opportunity to apply yourself.

How will I be assessed: Self-evaluation and peer to peer feed-back, lots of support and encouragement from your tutor to help you get the most from your session

What shall I bring: Please bring a set of acrylic paints including the 3 primary colours ,plus one dark and one light eg paynes grey and mixing white or black and buff titanium as you prefer. Please also bring a brush pack and a canvas board or some 250gsm mixed media paper to work on. Dress for mess or wear loose, comfortable, old clothes.

If a learner decides to withdraw from a course before a course begins, the following charges should be made:

• 21 working days or more before course starts a full refund will be issued
• 7 - 20 working days before course starts a £10 admin fee will be charged
• Less than 7 working days before the course starts no refund will be made
