Growing Green Futures - Sustainability in the Early Years

Wednesday 9th June 2027 - 9.30am to 12.30pm - Face-to-Face - Basingstoke area

This course empowers early years practitioners to embed meaningful, hands on environmental sustainability into everyday practice. Through practical activities and reflective guidance, participants explore how young children can become eco-explorers by growing plants, making and using compost, recycling materials, and creatively reusing and repurposing resources. The course also highlights simple, achievable ways to enhance biodiversity in early years environments - from bug friendly villages to native wildflower meadows – building a culture of stewardship that children can carry forward into their futures.
