Inclusion Team Play, Chat & Interact - In house training

Will your Early Years setting be welcoming younger children in with the new childcare offer? Early intervention and supporting children’s attention and language at the earliest opportunity is key. We can help boost your knowledge of how to support the youngest children in your environment.

Play, Chat & Interact focusses on the impact of Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) moving from early childhood, and into education.  

This course focusses on how this can be implemented through high quality adult-child interaction, working effectively with parents, and developing attention and vocabulary.

It supports practitioners to understand how communication develops and how to monitor this development, this course will also give ideas around practical strategies practitioners can use to support the progression of these key skills. Where a child is identified as having a SCLN, this training looks at the referral process for additional support from outside agencies. 

Practitioners attending this training will be asked to complete a pre-course eLearning, which will provide them with some background knowledge to better support their understanding through this training.

Price: from £300 per half day (up to 20 learners)

Once you have made payment and discussed arrangements with the relevant team member your InHouse training/support is confirmed.

Payment needs to be received no later than 10 days before the date of training/support.
