KS1 Talk Boost In House training

Talk Boost Key Stage 1 is an evidence based targeted intervention for 4-7 year olds with delayed language development, including children in Reception classes. The intervention is delivered by classroom teachers and teaching assistants and provides a structured intervention that boosts children’s progress in language and communication by an average of 9-18 months after a 10 week intervention.

This full day training will give practitioners the skills and knowledge to understand the rationale behind Talk Boost Key Stage 1, identify appropriate children, measure their progress and deliver the intervention within your school successfully.

Speech and Language UK specify that both the class teacher and class learning support assistant must attend the training so that the intervention can be implemented effectively.

Before the training you must purchase a Talk Boost KS1 Intervention Pack for your school at a one-off cost of £550.  Please purchase these from Speech and Language UK directly here: https://speechandlanguage.org.uk/shop-for-educators/talk-boost-ks1-intervention-pack/ entering the licensee name “Jennifer Done”.

Please note that practitioners must have their packs to hand during the training. Practitioners will not be able to participate in this training without the pack.

Price: from £600 per full day (up to 20 learners)

Once you have made payment and discussed arrangements with the relevant team member your InHouse training/support is confirmed.

Payment needs to be received no later than 10 days before the date of training/support.
