This training will explore practical and creative ways to dive deeply into stories and to make mark making magical.

Children’s early experiences of literacy lay the foundations for a lifelong love of reading…and writing! This course will explore the key aspects of child development which make a difference to children’s progress as well as the critical role of the adult in creating a literacy rich environment where children have frequent, joyful opportunities to engage with reading and marking making in a range of authentic ways, inside and outside.
