Session one - Understanding Children's Behaviour: Supporting their Social and Emotional Development In-House Training
This session looks at early brain development and the importance of co regulation to support self-regulation. It will begin to explore underlying factors that may be impacting on the child, and what the behaviour may be communicating.
By the end of this session, you will be able to:
- Understand the importance of early brain development and the impact on behaviour
- Understand the importance of co regulation
- Understand the impact of self-esteem and resilience on behaviour
- Understand the importance of the role of the adult
- Understand that behaviour is communicating a need
