Early Years Safeguarding - All Staff Safeguarding Training (3hrs) (Setting Based) (Mon-Fri) - Monday 8th September 2025 - 9.00am

Delivered exclusively to your setting (Mon-Fri), this EY Safeguarding training is suitable for staff/assistants working directly with children and families, in an employed or voluntary capacity.   

Setting based training allows your team to explore safeguarding through the lens of the uniqueness of your setting, your families and your community.

• 3-hour session
• Delivered in your setting by an experienced trainer through Hampshire County Council
• Content encompasses an evolving national safeguarding lens and Hampshire safeguarding priorities.     

Training provided to staff or assistants, must enable them to identify signs of possible abuse and neglect at the earliest opportunity.

This 3-hour course will enable delegates to:  

• Understand what is meant by safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
• Develop an awareness of the legislative and procedure framework that guides us
• Identify the various ways that children and young people may be harmed
• Clarify the roles and responsibilities of all staff

Cost for Attendance:

• £595 per setting
