This training has been developed for Hampshire Wraparound and Out of School providers to enable Designated Safeguarding Leads, and Deputies/Assistants to refresh their safeguarding knowledge and skills.

Safeguarding is not static.

This training includes statutory updates across the EYFS and KCSIE and reflects an evolving national landscape, supporting a proactive approach to safeguarding practice.

It further encompasses key Hampshire safeguarding priorities, resources, and processes to support robust safeguarding practice across the setting.

4.5 hour session
Delivered over MS Teams by an experienced trainer through Hampshire County Council

This 4.5 hour course will enable delegates to:

Understand the scope of the legislative framework which underpins effective practice
Reflect on the roles and responsibilities of a DSL/DDSL
Evaluate existing practice. Identify strengths and areas for practice improvement

Cost for Attendance:

£80 per delegate
This payment will be made via an Internal Trading Document (ITD)
