Festive Printmaking: Christmas Card Workshop

Aims of the Course: A fun and friendly 4hr workshop where you will hand-print your own set of unique single coloured Christmas cards using simple relief printing techniques.
Learning Goals:
- Explore Relief Printmaking Techniques
- Experiment with colour, texture, and composition to translate seasonal imagery into prints
- Design and print a personalised set of single coloured Christmas cards to take home
- Build Confidence to continue printmaking independently at home
Get into the creative spirit of the season with this fun and relaxed four-hour printmaking workshop. Guided by an experienced tutor, you’ll design and hand-print your own set of unique Christmas cards using simple relief printing techniques. Experiment with colour, texture, and composition as you explore how to translate festive imagery into bold, eye-catching prints. The workshop offers plenty of scope for creativity — whether you prefer classic motifs or contemporary designs — and provides a rewarding, hands-on way to make something personal to share with friends and family. By the end of the session, you’ll take home a beautifully printed set of original Christmas cards and the skills to continue printing at home.
Who is this course for: Individuals looking to develop their creative skills in lino printing
Previous knowledge or experience: Ideal for those that have attended a previous workshop with Rob .
How will I learn: Through a range of activities, demonstrations and practice.
What shall I bring: Listed are ideas of what you’ll need, a variety is good:
- An A5 or A4 sketchbook or loose paper.
- Pencils within the H to 8B range (one or two)
- Rubber
- Pencil sharpener
- Sharpie marker
- Ruler
- Any Lino cutting equipment you may already own
Refunds: If a learner decides to withdraw from a course before a course begins, the following charges should be made:
- 21 working days or more before course starts a full refund will be issued
- 7 - 20 working days before course starts a £10 admin fee will be charge
- Less than 7 working days before the course starts no refund will be made
