Brand new for 2025, Hampshire DofE, in conjunction with New Forest Wildlife Park, offer a unique 5 day/4-night experience in designing your own native species wildlife park. This is an unforgettable experience where conservation and nature come together.

This exciting opportunity is perfect for anyone with a passion for animals or nature conservation, or for those looking to study in a related area.

• enclosure designs with hands on work around the park
• animal encounters
• making and placing animal enrichment
• animal behaviour studies
• designing your own native species wildlife park

• accommodation in the heart of The New Forest National Park

• transfers from New Forest Wildlife Park to accommodation
• a written reference from the New Forest Wildlife Park to document your activities for further education/employment
• an annual pass to the New Forest Wildlife Park to enjoy year-round access

Bursaries for this residential are available thanks to the New Forest Wildlife Park. If you would like to attend but are not in a financial position to do so, please contact dofe@hants.gov.uk  for further information. Please note that bursaries are available to Hampshire residents only.

Full price: £415.00

Deposit: £95.00 (and 2x instalments of £160 at later dates).

If the deposit option has been chosen, you will be sent a link to the instalment page for later payments.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your place on the residential, please notify Hampshire DofE office as soon as possible.

Cancellations made 12 weeks before the start date of the residential – Hampshire Outdoors will reimburse the participating individual 90% of their payment.

Cancellations made between 12 and 6 weeks of the residential – Hampshire Outdoors will reimburse the participating individual 50% of their payment.

Cancellations made within 6 weeks of the start date of the residential – The participating individual is liable for the full fee; no refund will be available.

Please note: This residential is run on minimum numbers. If they are not reached, a full refund will be issued.

All of the above information is required, so please complete each box or it may cause a delay in successful booking.

Your booking is not confirmed until a signed medical form has been returned (you will be sent this after booking your place).
