(The cost covers all three dates and the supervision. All three dates need to be attended to complete the course.)

Mediating Learning Support Approaches (MeLSAs) This course is for any member of school staff (ideally settings will send their SENCo and an LSA) and will support staff to help learners become independent using evidence-based mediation techniques, including:

• identifying the learning skills needed for tasks
• guiding learners in developing their thinking based on an understanding of their individual needs
• providing support on an individual and group basis

MeLSA 2025 training is being offered in all areas and open to all schools:

Three days of practical training covering:

• Mindset
• Thinking about thinking (metacognition) Memory and recall
• Ongoing support through two group supervision sessions with an Educational Psychologist

Price: £500 for one delegate or £900 for two delegates from the same school
