Early Talk Boost - by invitation only

Summer term 2025 - Tuesday 8th July 2025 - Half day session - 9.30am to 12.30pm - Virtual session

Early Talk Boost is a targeted intervention aimed at 3-4 year old children who need help with talking and understanding words, helping to boost their language skills to narrow the gap between them and their peers. The programme aims to accelerate children’s progress in language and communication by an average of 6 months, after a 9 week intervention. The intervention pack comes with everything you need to deliver the program, including a tracker, session plans and books for families.

This half day training will give practitioners the skills and knowledge to understand the rationale behind Early Talk Boost, identify appropriate children, deliver the intervention and measure the children’s progress.

Please note practitioners will need to bring their Early Talk Boost intervention pack with them on this training, this was the kit provided to the setting during the First Opportunity training.

Practitioners must have their packs to hand during the training as they will not be able to participate without them.
