HR and Staff Management – Bitesize Learning

The focus of this introductory training is to explore the responsibilities and duties for those in leadership for the Human Resources and staff management in childcare provision.

This short presentation on HR and staff management can be used as a workshop for childcare and early education setting leaders and your management /governance to understand the key aspects of HR and staff management.

You can use the presentation slides and links to support the development of HR and staff management systems in your setting and to consider how you can review and evaluate systems and processes that you have in place, building in a structure of continual improvement to your business processes.

The aims of this training are:

•         What are the staff management responsibilities of governors and leaders?

•         Employment and other regulation

•         Putting in place processes for staff management 

Please allow at least 40 mins to complete this eLearning course.  The materials contain a mixture of information, clips and quizzes to support the learning. Please note this training is run through the SfYC Moodle pages and you will therefore require computer and speaker access. You will also need to provide an up-to-date email address to enable access to the e-learning.

Once you have purchased a place on an eLearning, a login will be emailed to you.
