The focus of this introductory training is to explore the development of strategies and systems for effective recruitment and succession of the trustees or directors in childcare provision.

This short presentation on recruitment and succession planning can be used as a workshop for childcare and early education setting leaders and your management /governance to understand the key aspects for effective recruitment and succession of trustees, directors or others in governance at childcare provision.

You can use the presentation slides and links to support the development of systems and processes for recruitment and succession planning  in your setting and to consider how you can review and evaluate systems and processes that you have in place, building in a structure of continual improvement to your business processes.

The aims of this training are:

•         What role do governors and leaders have in recruitment?

•         What needs to be in place when recruiting?

•         Processes for effective recruitment

Please allow at least 40 mins to complete this eLearning course.  The materials contain a mixture of information, clips and quizzes to support the learning. Please note this training is run through the SfYC Moodle pages and you will therefore require computer and speaker access. You will also need to provide an up-to-date email address to enable access to the e-learning.
