Safer Environments - E-learning course

This new e Learning course is designed to support all early years staff and contains a wealth of information, scenarios and website links. By the end of the course learners will have.

To improve understanding of relevant legislation and how this impacts on practice​
​To improve understanding of risk assessments and how these may be implemented in your setting​
To improve understanding of the benefits of risky play​
​To raise awareness of policies and procedures that may be needed and how to implement these​
To provide guidance on creating documents and forms
This course is perfect for a staff meeting as you can stop and discuss each of the scenarios with your team. Please allow a 2-3 hrs to complete the course and fully discuss the case studies included. Please note this training is run through the SfYC Moodle pages and you will therefore require computer and speaker access. You will also need to provide an up to date email address to enable access to the e-learning.

Once you have purchased a place on an eLearning, a login will be emailed to you.

Places booked on scheduled face-to-face and virtual courses will be confirmed when we send out joining instructions closer to the start date.
