Describe the role and responsibilities of the infection control lead in the prevention and control of infections​.

Describe the systems, procedures and the importance of risk assessment in relation to the prevention and control of infections and be able to carry out infection control audits.

Explain the importance of promoting good use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and promoting personal hygiene in the prevention and control of infections​.
