If you love your holiday reads with sunshine, secrets, and just the right amount of drama, then this author event is for you!

Join debut novelist Emma Robertson, author of A Girl’s Girl, for an afternoon of conversation about toxic friendships, old rivalries, 90s nostalgia, travel inspiration, and the journey from short fiction writer to published novelist.

Emma grew up in Aldershot and was known locally as a teacher of children’s dance classes at the Albany Dance Club and Emma’s Academy of Dance & Drama in the late 1990s and 2000s. Her family connections in Aldershot and Farnborough mean that this area remains very special to her and she is looking forward to visiting and talking about her journey from dance teacher to author.

Emma will be chatting about the inspiration behind A Girl’s Girl, exploring why school friendships can leave such a lasting mark, and sharing insights into her writing process, love of travel, and the stories that shaped her debut novel.

Her debut has been described as a "White Lotus-style ‘frenemy’ implosion thriller" packed with twists, suspense and unforgettable characters.

Books, chat, a cuppa and a healthy dose of nostalgic 90s memories guaranteed! Plus an audience Q&A, and the chance to meet an exciting new voice in contemporary fiction.

1.45pm arrival for a 2.00pm start.

Price: £3.00 per person (includes a cup of tea or coffee)
